What You Need To Make Your Easter Footprint Art

Getting your child’s footprint just right can be challenging (you may have to do it a few times!).

Before you start your Easter craft, you’ll need a few items:

Paintbrush
Non-toxic, washable baby-safe paint or ink pad
Cardstock (preferably)

First, I recommend printing the Easter craft templates on cardstock paper. It’s thicker than standard computer paper and will hold up better over time and be less susceptible to crumples and rips. The quality of the paper is also great if you’re planning to gift these footprint Easter crafts to Grandparents or relatives.

Next you’ll need baby-safe paint that is non-toxic. For preschoolers, I recommend this safe washable paint that comes in multiple colors. If you plan on doing more Easter craft projects or just a lot of art in general, then you’ll probably get the most use out of paint.

Alternatively, for a less messy approach for infants, go for these baby safe ink-pads.

Keep a rag or some baby wipes nearby as you do your craft to keep any mess at bay. You’ll also want to dress your child in “ok to get dirty” clothes in case of any paint mishaps!
